An acclaimed Los Angeles dance company that includes dancers, gymnasts, and actors, Diavolo was named Best of the Fest by The London Independent in 1995 after making its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Led by choreographer Jacques Heim, who has previously worked with Cirque de Soleil, the 10-member ensemble creates surreal dreamscape worlds. This matinee demonstrates the company’s performance style and philosophy while introducing some basic elements of dance.
