The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia is one of the premier music schools in the U.S. Its touring program, Curtis On Tour, features exceptional young student musicians from Curtis performing alongside celebrated alumni and faculty. For this performance, violinist Ida Kavafian and cellist Peter Wiley of the Curtis faculty will join the students in celebrating the centenary year of composer Samuel Barber with a performance of his String Quartet.
